The answer is simply anywhere.  From our doorstep there are footpaths leading North‚ South‚ East‚ and West.  North will take you along the Derwent Valley Heritage Way to Chatsworth House in just over an hour.  South will take you to the Bronze Age Nine Ladies Stone Circle on Stanton Moor (and then to the amazing Flying Childers Pub in Stanton-in-the-Peak)‚ again in just over an hour. East will take you to Matlock and Matlock Bath‚ a nice 1.5 – 2 hour stretch of the legs. Finally‚ last but certainly not least‚ West will take you to Haddon Hall and Bakewell‚ both about an hour and a half away on foot‚ with incredible views across the Wye valley.  The choice is yours………..
