Chatsworth Literary Festival

Also known as The Queen’s Reading Room Festival will take place on 19th and 20th September this year and tickets have just gone on sale. Festival passes cost £25 and are for one day. They include entry to the house, garden and farmyard.

This widely regarded festival of books and reading has an exciting line-up of guests speakers including Clare Balding, Harlan Coben, Lee Child, Cecelia Ahern, Meg Mason, Elif Shafak, Ann Cleeves, Louise Penny, Jeffrey Archer, Kate Atkinson, William Boyd, Jessie Burton, Reeta Chakrabarti, Daisy Fancourt, Lucy Foley, Jane Harper, Louise Kennedy, Philippa Perry, Jennifer Saint, Nussaibah Younis, and Louisa Young. Tickets for the individual talks are £20 each and must be booked in advance, together with the festival pass.

The event will take place in a special Festival Hub on the South Lawn of the garden which will include the Garden Stage, the Fountain Stage, The Writers’ Room, The Poetry Room, Bookshop Signing Tents, and a Catering Village.
