Another Edge I neglected for too long and recently revisited. This is possibly the most impressive and therefore the most famous of all the gritstone edges in the Peak District – also because it is where Keira Knightley famous stood in her swirling skirts in the 2005 film of Pride and Prejudice while the camera panned away to show the drama of the landscape more than matching the drama of the script. My advice, take your time, take sandwiches and do the whole thing – then pop to the pub in Hathersage for a well earned pint or two afterwards.
