Chatsworth House is set in 800 incredible acres of countryside, and the boundary of the park is a two mile easy walk through the Derwent valley from The Old Station House B&B. The reward once you cross the humpback bridge and enter the park is a lovely final mile stroll along the river through Capability Brown’s carefully landscaped vision, designed to enhance the view of the house from every direction. It is a truly magnificent day out from the moment you step outside our front door.
